Khaliso Khohloa

Khahliso Khohlooa is the archetype of the modern, dynamic, young South African woman! Seeing her in action instils confidence in the future, for you leave knowing that tomorrow is in safe hands.
Khahliso has proved the winner philosophy in her career so far. Unable to afford a tertiary education after matric, she volunteered for as many NGO’s as she could manage, including the Star Seaside Fund.  She worked her way up to a position of receptionist at R150 a week. Even at this low wage, she managed to save enough to enrol in an image consulting course, which was the beginning of her romance with brand strategy.
Khahliso entered the world of branding and activations in 2001, working her way up from promoter and road show presenter to account management, business development and then to brand communication strategist.
Specialised in the core values and attributes of Emerging Markets, Khahliso has worked with marketers and brand managers at  some of South Africa’s top companies, including Unilever, 49M, Natures Choice, Eskom, Mc Cain, and MTN.
Based on her brand experiences, Khahliso has completed a soon to be published book, Township Brand Romance.
As a Brand Communications Strategist,Khahliso is a regular speaker at Marketing Mix conferences, tackling topics such as Ekasi Activation, Beauty and Style for Black Women, and the Township Shopper.

Health and Fitness is another passion and Khahliso founded FITG “FAT it’s time to go” in 2012.  FITG is aimed at developing a healthy lifestyle community for black African women and already has over 19 000 members from over 20  African countries. This platform enables black women from different walks of life and cultures to tackle health and image issues together, in a safe and supportive environment. Khahliso has big plans for this new venture. There’s no reason to doubt that, considering hundreds of excited women at her seminars:
