“Stephen Van Niekerk and Carly Graeme were funny, gutsy and heart breaking as the rebel leaders.” Ben Elton. We Will Rock You (Asia tour)

Stephen van Niekerk is an actor, a singer, a dancer and a comic … and he’s  drop dead gorgeous!

He was the presenter of Coca Cola’s Popstars roadshows in 2002 and 2003 and starred in various television series including Backstage, Egoli, Eve’s Cradle, Dit Wat Stom Is and 7de Laan, before landing a leading role as “Laurence” in MNet’s acclaimed series “Snitch.”  He followed that series with an award winning portrayal of the abusive, psychotic, wife beating Daniel Lewis in SABC’s “Home Affairs.”

As a serious actor and live performer, he returns to stage as often as possible. He followed his portrayal of a gay dancer in  Love! Valour! Compassion! With a hunky pin up performance in the sexy show Ladies Night. He had a lead role, “Vic” in “We Will Rock You” a  Hazel Feldman, in collaboration with Ben Elton, production which completed a hit tour of Asia in the last months of 2008.

From the music of Queen in “We Will Rock You” and a hit tour around South East Asia, complete with their own groupies, some who saw the show six times, to something completely different on his return to South Africa.  In December 2008, Stephen took up the challenge to star in the Afrikaans musical “Houtkruis,” playing a monk who is persecuted for his beliefs and a role in the play “Fings ain’t what they used to be”  with Fiona Ramsey and Robert Whitehead

Stephen is Johannesburg based.

A professionally made corporate video can provide a platform for companies to communicate a message, demonstrate a product in action or express techniques and ideas to staff in an interesting and dynamic way. Corporate videos can do all of this for a fraction of the cost, as the film becomes a contained medium through which a company's message or product becomes accessible to a wider audience in a shorter period of time. more info »
